Our story
In the spring of 1984, Peter Stockhaus founded Megacon in Stockholm with the idea of developing earth fault monitoring systems and offering electricity quality solutions in Europe. In the same year Megacon, helped create the foundation for the modern earth fault monitoring systems in Sweden.
Late in the 90’s, Megacon’s journey of visualizing measurement data in a useful way began : Collection logging products and systems began to be created because we understood that data in real estate is a necessity for all property owners.
Over 40 years, we have continuously developed our own products, always with end users and quality top of mind. Megacon’s product range continue to grow.
In 2023 joined Socomec Group.
SOCOMEC is a hundred-year-old family-owned group that designs, manufactures and markets electrical equipment with extensive expertise in mission-critical energy applications.
With 4,400 employees, 30 subsidiaries and 8% of turnover reinvested in R&D, Socomec is an international group with strong values fostered by a family-owned company.
